AI Governance Policy — TechEd Analyst

1. What AI Does on This Platform

The AI Study Assistant helps learners understand course content and explore related concepts. It is powered by Claude (Anthropic) and operates within a context window limited to the current course and lesson. The assistant is designed to support learning, not to replace instruction.

2. What AI Does Not Do

The AI assistant does not provide legal, compliance, regulatory, or professional advice.
It does not make grading or credentialing decisions.
It does not generate compliance reports or legal outputs.
It does not retain conversation history between sessions.

3. Human Oversight

Every AI-assisted output is labeled clearly. Certificates and credentials are issued based on objective completion data, not AI assessment. The founder reviews AI system behavior regularly and updates the system prompt and model parameters when improvements are identified.

4. Data Handling

Conversation inputs are sent to Anthropic's API and are subject to Anthropic's privacy policy. No conversation content is stored permanently on TechEd Analyst servers. Session data is cleared when the browser session ends. TechEd Analyst does not use conversation data to train models.

5. Model Governance

Current model: claude-sonnet-4-6 (Anthropic). The model and system prompt are reviewed quarterly. Material changes to AI behavior — including model upgrades, system prompt changes, or new AI-powered features — will be reflected in an updated version of this policy with a revised last-updated date.
