I built this course because the question I keep getting from CTE directors is variations of the same one: "I keep hearing 'AI agents.' What does that actually mean for our IT programs, and how worried should I be?"

This course answers that — directly, with specifics, and without selling you anything.

I am Dr. Tennyson Johnson. I have spent over two decades in CTE and IT — teaching, designing curriculum, leading instructional teams, and running programs. I have also been close enough to industry to watch what employers actually hire for, not what the marketing claims.

Agentic AI is a real shift. It is not the same thing as generative AI, and treating them as the same is already costing programs credibility with employers. Some of the entry-level IT roles your students train for will look meaningfully different in two years. Others will not. The hard part is telling which is which.

Over three short hours, this course will give you a clear working definition of agentic AI, three documented examples of how it is restructuring IT roles right now, a framework for reading employer signals, and a draft program-response plan you can take to your advisory board.
