Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

The Services provide operational tools, guided workflows, templates, and AI-assisted drafting for small businesses, agencies, and consultants. This AUP helps keep the platform safe, lawful, and useful for eligible users.

2. Eligible users

Only eligible entities may use the Services. Ineligible entities are described in Terms of Service §2a, including municipal governments, public school districts, and entities primarily administering publicly funded workforce development or career and technical education programs.

3. Permitted use

You may use the Services for internal business operations, planning, documentation, and drafting, subject to your plan and these policies. Outputs are working documents — not credentials, certifications, or professional advice.

4. Prohibited conduct

These rules add to the acceptable-use rules in Section 6 of our Terms of Service. Without limitation, you must not:

• Violate applicable law or third-party rights;
• Use the Services to assess, certify, or determine regulatory compliance on behalf of others;
• Misrepresent AI-generated outputs as human-prepared professional work where that would be deceptive;
• Probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities, or bypass security or access controls;
• Generate or distribute malware, spam, or deceptive content;
• Reverse engineer or extract underlying models or non-public APIs except as permitted by law;
• Resell or sublicense the Services without written consent;
• Submit regulated data (for example, HIPAA-, FERPA- or GLBA-covered data, or payment card data outside Stripe's checkout), as described in Terms of Service §9a;
• Access the Services by automated means, scraping, or crawling, except through features we provide;
• Use the Services or outputs to build, train, or improve a competing product or AI model;
• Share login credentials, exceed the people or seats in your plan, or get around credits, rate limits, or usage caps;
• Try to bypass AI safety controls (for example, jailbreaks or prompt injection) or make AI features produce prohibited content;
• Impersonate anyone or misrepresent who created content;
• Use the Services in a manner that could harm us, other users, or third parties.

4a. Prohibited content

Do not submit, generate, or share content that is unlawful; harassing, threatening, or hateful; promotes violent extremism or self-harm; sexually explicit; sexualizes minors in any way; infringes intellectual property or invades privacy; or contains malware.

5. AI-assisted features

AI features are assistive. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before use. See our AI Features Disclosure for in-product AI labeling and limitations.

AI provider usage policy. AI features run on Anthropic's models. Your use of AI features must also follow Anthropic's Usage Policy, which forms part of this AUP.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations, remove content or limit features that we reasonably believe break this AUP, and suspend or terminate access where appropriate. Report abuse through our Contact page.
